Armband worn by Danish Resistance

Freedom fighters wore armbands and could therefore be considered as soldies according to the Haag convention of 1907. Without armband one could risk summary execution by the Germans. The armband comes in different variations.

This version is without the official metal plate which probably has been lost. It has the inscription M.I. in the white ribbon (stands for Materielintendanturen).
